Yoga
Join us for yoga classes where you can explore your practice at your own pace, in a supportive and inclusive environment. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or a beginner, you'll find poses that challenge and inspire you. Together, we'll build a stronger mind-body connection and discover the joy of moving and breathing as one.
Yoga is for everyone. In our group classes, you can be as stiff as you are, and it's okay if life isn't always sunshine and rainbows.
Our mission is to help you find balance between your body and mind, so you can live a healthier, more vibrant life. Yoga is here to support you, not the other way around. Yoga helps you relax and build strength. Our practices will tone your muscles, calm your mind, and improve your focus. Plus, it can help relieve aches and pains - many people have found relief from back and shoulder discomfort through yoga. Yoga exercises increase flexibility, improve posture, boost circulation, and aid digestion. You'll also learn how to breathe more deeply and efficiently.
A human being is a psycho-physical entity, and in yoga, we strive to create a connection with oneself through breath. With yoga, you can find a peaceful mind and a balanced body. Yoga also makes it easier to be present in the moment in everyday life. Invest in yourself and the quality of your life – step into our heated room. Together, we aim for a new beginning.
Although yoga is often categorized as a spiritual practice, it can actually be a diverse and even intense physical workout. You can choose the intensity that suits you best. Yoga is also a great complementary workout for climbing and other sports.
A Variety of Weekly Classes
We offer a diverse range of yoga classes, including Yin Yoga, gentle and dynamic Vinyasa-based flow yoga, Hatha Yoga, as well as yoga for children and families.
Some of our classes utilize separate infrared heaters (9 units), and depending on the class, the temperature can range from 22 to 38 degrees Celsius. The heat promotes the stretching of joints, muscles, and tissues, so it's important to listen to your body to avoid overexertion. Practicing in a heated environment relaxes the body and increases metabolism. If the temperature feels too high at any point, we recommend choosing a spot near the door where it may be cooler. You can also discuss suitable temperatures and classes with your instructor.
Yin Yoga
Yin yoga calms the mind and guides the body into a state of complete relaxation, as it focuses on mindful presence through the breath. The practice is a great way to get to know yourself. Yin yoga poses are passive and are often done using various props. In the poses, one surrenders to gravity and holds them for several minutes to reach the deepest layers of the body, the connective tissues, tendons, and cartilage. Yin yoga soothes the nervous system and teaches the skill of accepting presence.
As a counterbalance to muscular work, it is an energy-restoring practice that allows one to let go of all performance. Yin yoga poses are passive and are often done using various props. In the poses, one surrenders to gravity and holds them for several minutes to reach the deepest layers of the body. Yin yoga soothes the nervous system and teaches the skill of accepting presence.
Gentle Flow Yoga
A Gentle Flow Yoga class offers a calming and restorative Vinyasa experience that focuses on gentle movements to improve flexibility. This soothing practice uses flowing, soft sequences to bring warmth, flexibility, and balance to the body. The class encourages a slower pace and mindful attention to bodily sensations.
Dynamic Flow Yoga
A dynamic class offers a more vigorous Vinyasa yoga experience, designed to enhance balance, strength, and flexibility through a variety of poses. Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just starting out, this class caters to all levels by allowing you to modify the poses to suit your needs and preferences. Expect to be challenged in your balance and to build strength as you flow through the sequence.
Family Yoga
Family yoga is designed for children aged 3-6 and an important adult in their life. Family yoga offers adults and children the opportunity to engage in a shared activity. It gently encourages movement and relaxation while strengthening the bond between them. Yoga poses are introduced through stories and play. The positive exercises strengthen the trust, concentration, self-esteem, and body awareness between the child and adult. Everyone practices yoga in their own style, always correctly. In this way, we learn to be gentle with ourselves and others. The accepting and permissive atmosphere allows everyone to experience success, gives time to be oneself and listen to oneself, together.
Meditation & Mindfulness
Mindfulness meditation involves the practice of clearing the mind of automatic thoughts and reactions by focusing on the breath or a mental image. It promotes mindful acceptance, being present in the moment, and accepting the current state of affairs. It provides a brief pause from the daily hustle. A variety of mindfulness and meditation exercises are offered in workshops. Please refer to the calendar for available sessions. The product description always details the content of each hour-long class. Exercises may involve gentle warmth and music.
Brain Relief®
In Brain Relief® treatment, the parasympathetic nervous system is activated through multiple sensory inputs. The parasympathetic nervous system regulates, among other things, the overall calmness and relaxation of the human body, and enables the body to recover from stress.
The primary goal of Brain Relief® treatment is deep relaxation. This is achieved by activating the body's own recovery mechanisms and balancing the nervous system. The treatment increases the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, which calms the often overactive sympathetic nervous system during stress and prolonged stress. The treatment's precisely defined movements and targeted touches also support the production of neurotransmitters such as oxytocin that promote pleasure and calmness in the body, which also reduces levels of the stress hormone cortisol.
