In Brain Relief® treatment, the parasympathetic nervous system is activated through multiple sensory inputs. The parasympathetic nervous system regulates, among other things, the overall calmness and relaxation of the human body, and enables the body to recover from stress.

The primary goal of Brain Relief® treatment is deep relaxation. This is achieved by activating the body's own recovery mechanisms and balancing the nervous system. The treatment increases the activation of the parasympathetic nervous system, which calms the often overactive sympathetic nervous system during stress and prolonged stress. The treatment's precisely defined movements and targeted touches also support the production of neurotransmitters such as oxytocin that promote pleasure and calmness in the body, which also reduces levels of the stress hormone cortisol.

It is important to emphasize that Brain Relief treatment itself does not aim to treat any specific ailment or disease, and therefore does not promise any cure or relief of ailments or diseases. The treatment alleviates chronic stress and supports the body's own healing ability, and as a result, various ailments and symptoms may improve.

In cases of chronic stress and ailments, we recommend three treatment sessions over a period of about 6 weeks. Initially, the nervous system always tries to return to its starting point after treatment, so a series of treatments with a relatively tight schedule offers the most sustainable treatment response.

Treatment Situation

During the treatment, you don't need to do anything. Just be.

The recipient lies on their back on the treatment table for the entire duration of the treatment to maximize the relaxation effect. The treatment is performed while wearing normal underwear; it's best to have your arms bare and wear thin socks. Please remove large earrings, necklaces, and bracelets for the duration of the treatment.

The treatment focuses on the head, face, shoulder and neck area, hands, and feet. The treatment techniques include a variety of rotating, rubbing, stroking, kneading, brushing, tapping, and caressing movements, all of which are gentle, pleasant, and many are particularly slow.

The treatment includes carefully selected music that supports the effects of the treatment and to which the treatment techniques are synchronized. If you prefer, you can request silence if that is more relaxing. There is no conversation during the actual treatment.

The actual treatment lasts approximately 50 minutes, and it is advisable to allow at least an hour for the appointment so that you can slowly adjust your state and get up afterwards. Especially for the first treatment, time is also reserved for an initial interview to ensure that there are no obstacles to the treatment.

Three treatments within about six weeks have been found to bring lasting treatment effects for clients suffering from chronic ailments, where the first treatment provided relief. No common side effects from the treatment have yet been observed. The treatment boosts metabolism and fluid circulation in the body, so it is advisable to drink plenty of water on the treatment day to avoid headaches or feeling unwell.

Cancellation You can cancel a booked treatment free of charge up to the day before the appointment by clicking the "Cancel registration" button.
